Thursday November 8th Back at Raven Row

Today I went back to spend some time at the excellent APG Show at Raven Row with my friend artist and academic Michaela Ross, who works at the Tate.

We bumped into Barbara Steveni at the gallery who invited me to an event on 19th Nov at Raven Row – a very relevant panel discussion ‘UK Industry in Transition 1966-79 –  From the Corporation’s Perspective’. This is going to be very exciting and relevant and includes Chris Patey, ex-boss of British Steel who was a great advocate and supporter of APG ideals.I sat and watched through one of the videos “I Am An Archive” with Barbara Steveni undertaking a series of walks in London in real time retracing the steps at significant places and retelling the history and events of APG with an accompanying audience. The video I saw was one of 2 “Westminster” walks, and included Barbara and co walking into the Tate Archive and looking at the APG Archive shortly after its acquisition by the Tate!!! Quite a coincidence!
